Job Description
Do you have experience in account management and looking to start a varied role within an established family run business?
 
Due to continued growth my client, a leading manufacturer, and supplier based in Tewkesbury are looking for a new Sales Administrator to join their fun and friendly team on a permanent basis.

In this role you will be responsible for managing client accounts from initial account setup through to analysing of the whole account monthly whilst reporting this information through to Sales Office Manager.

This will also involve taking calls as well as dealing with adhoc requests such as stock enquiries, sales prices etc whilst also dealing with reporting and administration.
 
Responsibilities of the Sales Administrator:
  • Taking inbound calls daily
  • Quoting customers, providing customer ETA on orders and general effective communication to customers.
  • Order processing on all types of orders
  • Following up on recent returns
  • Ensuring up to date pricing is on the system and sent to all customers
  • Navigating SAGE and CRM system for up-to-date information
  • Taking part in product training and keeping up to date with new products
  • Monthly reports, using sales-i, on all customers and managing the area closely with Sales Office manager and Area Sales Manager
  • General support to other departments on an ad hoc level
  • Working towards departmental KPI’s
 
Key Skills Required for the Sales Administrator:
  • Customer focused with strong communication skills with the ability to listen and articulate effectively
  • Flexible on working on a rota basis from Home
  • To be able to run standard reports as and when required
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel as manipulating data re pricing is required daily
  • Knowledge of SAGE and Sales-i an advantage but not essential
  • Comfortable using Microsoft office products
  • Comfortable in policing sales pricing and discounts
  • Experience of sales, sales process and or sales operations would be desirable
 
Working hours are 08:30-17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:30-16:30 on Friday
Salary: £21500 – £23500
