SALARY: £60.00 - £75.00 per day for Short-Term or Longer-Term Supply Bookings
KEY STAGES: All Key Stages
CONTRACT: Temporary, short-term and mid-term supply work.

The Education Network is resourcing for several supportive and versatile Primary and Secondary schools to help their recruitment needs throughout Colchester, Essex; therefore, we are on an ongoing search for support staff to cater the needs of our schools.
If you are looking to apply for Teacher Training courses and are looking for paid experience to support your applications then working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant is exactly the role for you! We are looking for candidates with excellent communication skills, who can work on their own initiative and should have at least a 2:2 degree. Working under the guidance of our client schools' staff, you will support pupils in and out of the classroom. Duties will include undertaking administrative duties, provide teaching support and assist with lunchtime duties at the school. Graduate Teaching Assistants should have good communication skills as you will have to liaise with both students and teachers. The school will rely upon you to make sure all work set is completed to a good standard and that you work collaboratively with the class teachers at the school.
The Education Network is looking to speak with support staff with the following:
- Ideally a 2.2 degree or higher
- Confidence to work with students of all age groups
- Availability during the working week
- Effective behaviour management
- Eligibility to work in the UK
