Graduate Buying Administrator. Pertemps Recruitment are recruiting for a Graduate Buying Administrator, to work within a team responsible for contracts and services within the business. As a Graduate Buying Administrator your job will be to assist in the management of the client supplier network and ensure services supplied to the business follow legal processes and compliances and are at the best price.
You will be responsible for maintaining and updating supplier risks and issues, communicating and monitoring objectives, quality standards and Key Performance Indicators. The Graduate Buying Administrator will be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of Supplier Relationship Management plans. Collecting and analysing benchmark data and continuously searching the market and engaging with best in class / innovative suppliers to understand their capabilities and make recommendations.
Knowledge and Skills:
Degree in Law, Business or similar
Strong purchasing and negotiation experience
Would suit a supply, buying, procurement officer
Methodical, thorough, accurate and numerate
Able to exercise own initiative.
Excellent PC skills
Microsoft Office Packages
Previous office administrative experience
Flexible and able to meet changing business priorities
Drive and enthusiasm
Numerate & analytical
Logical and thorough approach to work
Attention to detail
Good communication skills both written and verbal
This role is commutable from Plymouth, Saltash, Liskeard, Tavistock and Launceston.
Salary Competitive, Permanent, 37.5 hours per week. Benefits include pension, 25 days holiday, social and charity based events, fun events within the office.
