Plymouth City Council currently have opportunities for experienced Customer Service Advisors to join their team on a full time basis.
As a Customer Service Advisor your primary responsibility will be to provide debt recovery activities, to include being the first point of contact for customers with Council Tax queries, arranging payment plans and being able to refer customers to other departments for advice. You can expect contact to be via the phone and/or e-mail and will at times involve difficult/complex conversations.
You will have demonstrable experience of debt recovery and/or within a revenues and benefits environment. However, we would be interested to hear from people with an extensive customer service (call centre based) background.
This temporary position is for 6 months with an immediate start. The rate of pay is £10.01 per hour and will involve remote working.
