Job Details

I am currently recruiting for a nationwide surveying company based in Birmingham City Centre. This position is 35 hours per week on an ongoing temporary basis. The role involves and is not limited to the following :

To answer calls from all customers as and when required in professional and friendly manner
To respond to customer emails and letters within a timely fashion
Respond/acknowledge all letters within 5 working days, if acknowledge within 5 working days full reply within 10 working days
To personally adhere to Quality Assurance Procedures within the organisation at all times, ensuring effective logging of all information onto internal databases and reporting tools, ensuring an effective audit trail
To identify and recommend process improvements.
To recommend new services to all customers through personal service insight gained through interactions with customers.
Assisting and supporting colleagues across the organisation
Taking full ownership of queries from receipt to closure, managing customer expectations, communicating clearly & confidently, providing an excellent level of customer service.
Resolve customer problems/complaints – escalating where necessary.
Acting as an ambassador for Customer Service at the organisation.
To undertake learning and development activities which support the delivery of the Customer Service strategy
Be flexible in approach to service delivery within the Customer Service Centre and show willingness to adapt new ways of working.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

Maths and English GCSE or equivalent is essential.
A sound understanding and ability to work with Microsoft packages.
Significant experience gained within a customer facing environment.
Possesses excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
The ability to prioritise work to ensure deadlines are met
Experience of working under pressure and to targets
Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
Demonstrates the ability to be flexible and adaptable within the role
Demonstrates an ability to act as a positive role model and a desire to make a difference
