What you will be doing as Regulatory Manager
  • Drive the development and execution of regulatory strategies across water and wastewater services.
  • Act as the key liaison with regulators, fostering transparent and constructive partnerships.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and advise internal teams on risks and opportunities.
  • Lead the delivery of business plans, price reviews, and performance commitments.
  • Coordinate responses to regulatory consultations and ensure compliance with licence conditions.
  • Embed regulatory thinking into strategic and operational decisions across the business.
  • Provide thought leadership on the future of regulation and policy evolution.
What you should bring to the role
  • Proven experience in regulatory, policy, or compliance roles—ideally in utilities, infrastructure, or government.
  • A deep understanding of the UK water industry and its regulatory landscape would be highly beneficial.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and policy.
  • Strategic thinker with a collaborative, proactive approach.
  • Ideally, a degree in law, economics, public policy, environmental science, or a related field (preferred).
