You have the chance to join a Global Manufacturing and Service Business as a QHSE Coordinator on their UK engineering service arm. The role sits in a division of a growing arm, of a Multinational Company. This is a really interesting opportunity for an experienced QHSE coordinator who wants to join one arm of a Global business, an arm that is going through a very exciting period of growth in the UK. As you are joining at the early part of this growth you have the chance to make your mark early with the chance of being elevated to more senior positions as you become more established. You will have International exposure to the Head Office in Switzerland with the potential to travel Globally with the business in the long term.
You will develop the existing ISO 9001 system in place, improve HSE policies and procedures for the business, create new ones where necessary and help different departments in managing the systems in place. In the longer term you may be asked to implement ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 as part of the continuous improvement of the Health, Safety and Environmental standards. You will coach and educate people at all levels, help them to understand their responsibilities and over time create a self-sustaining health and safety culture.
You must have a minimum of your NEBOSH Certificate. You will have experience working with ISO 9001 management system but it would be beneficial if you have worked with ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and are a lead auditor for ISO 9001. Your experience will ideally have experience within the engineering sector. You will be a self-starter and someone who can use their own initiative to drive and improve QHSE policies on site. You must be able to demonstrate this ability.
