Our client is a recognised, leading distributor of heating, plumbing, mechanical and process equipment and services into the building services and mechanical and electrical contractor markets. With more than 60 branches nationally and sister company to one of the most recognised builders merchants they have a network on major distribution centres throughout the country. Due to their continued success, they are now looking to grow their in-branch sales and account managers. You will be allocated a portfolio of existing, regular clients to maintain contact with and build rapport and develop relationships with, enhancing trust, rapport and subsequently increasing their revenue spend with you. Alongside this, you will be given target customers whom have either lapsed or have never done business with you to initiate contact with, establish their usage or viability and attempt to entice them to buy from you.
Other leads and enquiries will also come to light either by phone, email or invitations to tender all of which will require an attentive, positive, commercially aware account manager to make the best of any opportunity to provide a professional service. Personality, ability to communicate with both customers, suppliers and colleagues, positivity and professionalism are all key attributes that will make you a successful sales executive within the company. Numeracy, literacy and solid PC skills will be essential. Full support and product training will be given although previous skills in a similar sales environment will be an expected minimum for your application to be considered.
