Our client, based in rural Horley, currently has a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful manufacturing Company, as a Buyer/Purchasing Executive. Due to location you must have your own transport.
THis role is due to start as soon as possible, although notice periods will be taken into account. Hours of work willl be Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5pm and Company benefits including a Company pension, free parking and 20 days' holidays (+ 8 bank holidays).
In this role, you will be working with suppliers on a international scale, predominantly in the Far East and China to source parts which can offer the best price and lead time for the Company. Strong negotiating skills are required and an eye to source the the highest degree of quality. You will be working with existing suppliers, as well as sourcing new ones. Working to ISO90001 accreditation, you will be working closely with the Sales Team as well as managing your own projects.
In order to be successful in this role, you must have the following skills and experience:
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise you workload
- Sage experience would be beneficial
- Strong communication skills and excellent time management ability
- Excellent telephone manner
