A fantastic opportunity within Harrow Council for an experienced, self-motivated Business Support Officer to join our expanding team.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join us as a Business Support Officer for a temporary assignment.
In return we pay a competitive rate of £11.01 per hour, other benefits include excellent training and support for career development and 21 days holiday (excluding Bank Holidays). Your hours of work will be Mon - Fri 9:00am - 5:00pm. (Will be required to cover emergencies and leave for other colleagues in the office)
To be successful in this role you would need to have the below skills & experience:
-Comprehensive knowledge of IT systems, databases, websites etc in relation to providing an efficient business support service
-To have excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills. As they will be supporting the Director of Legal & Governance.
-Diary management skills
Duties will include:

-To deliver excellent administrative and business support services in accordance with statutory requirements and in compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
-To work collaboratively with colleagues across the Business Support Service to develop, implement and monitor systems and processes, as necessary, to ensure an efficient and seamless service delivery for service users.
-To provide a range of administrative support to projects across the service area as required, including producing project documentation, tracking actions, keeping records, collating information, diary management, setting up meetings and producing agendas, complex minute taking and subsequently transcribe the minutes and despatch same and liaison between key stakeholders.

Located 10 miles from the city centre and just 13 minutes to Euston from Harrow & Wealdstone station there are great transport links via the Metropolitan Line, Watford DC Line and national rail service.
