Job purpose- Watford
The role is to conduct Water Treatment works at client sites, such as the implementation of monitoring programmes, flushing regimes, and dosing, and complete all necessary records. The role is based at Weybridge The candidate will need to complete a security check upon appointment.
Complete Water Hygiene and Water Treatment programmes in line with Customer Service Schedules and current legislation.
Undertake Water Treatment tasks including testing, analysis, flushing & dosing of closed water systems.
Undertake Water Hygiene tasks including temperature monitoring, flushing little used outlets, showerhead cleaning & sampling
Conduct Legionella Risk Assessments.
Carryout clean & disinfection works of cold water storage tanks, down services and mains injections.
Undertake monitoring & servicing of thermostatic mixing valve
You will generate a good understanding of client sites and create a strong working relationship with the client.
Knowledge skills & experience
Sound knowledge of BS8580, ACoP L8 & HTM04-01 is essential
Use of PC & knowledge of Windows environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook including calendars
General plumbing skills
Full clean driving licence
Previous knowledge and experience in Government and FM environment
Various security clearance will be required
Confident in dealing with a wide range of clients
Confident in working under pressure
Well presented - professional manner (corporate uniform provided)
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multi-task
