History of managing and delivering projects. Working well within a team. Role Overview: My Client specialise in engineering services projects within existing buildings. Their work includes high end commercial refurbishments and the design, specification, procurement and project management of key infrastructure replacement projects within buildings. They provide strategic advice to building owners and managers to improve or optimise the performance of their buildings, feeding back in terms of long term energy ,maintenance and reliability. The role would suit a technically proficient, well organised individual with good commercial acumen and who is looking for a varied, client facing role. The team has a history of promoting internally and there is a strong possibility of advancement for the right candidate. Experience in: • Producing high quality reports with clear and concise recommendations. • Prepare Feasibility reports and provide strategic advice to clients relating to VT equipment. • Presenting technical information to clients and providing clear and timely communication throughout a • project. • Preparing technical specifications, drawings and schedules, with reference to the latest industry • standards/best practice. • Evaluating tender submissions and preparation of tender report with recommendations. • Project management, preparation of contract documentation, leading meetings, practical completion and • handover. • Evaluating and reporting on existing installations through site survey and report. • Ensuring H&S and legislative compliance throughout the course of a project. • Financial management of project and ensuring works carried out within agreed budget and agreed timescale. • Working within a multi-disciplinary design and projects team. • Develop and build professional relationships with clients. • Assist the growth of the business Typical Value of Projects: £30k to £500k. Typical Projects: Refurbishment or replacement of lifts within existing, occupied buildings; existing lift groups, simplexes, car lifts, escalators, goods lifts.
