Network Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Educational Psychologist to be based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. This role is permanent and is offering an excellent salary of £49,432-£54,868 per annum plus a £2000 Golden Hello payment upon successful completion of probationary period. Our Client is looking to recruit Educational Psychologists to a highly regarded Service within a well-known local authority. Closely involved with local and national developments and professional training for educational psychologists, they offer a wide range of Statutory and non-statutory services including consultation, assessment, interventions and training. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Psychological consultation, assessment of and intervention with the learning/developmental needs of children and young people aged 0 - 25 causing concern. To provide psychological advice to the Local Authority within required timeline for assessment of children's Special Educational Needs and other statutory duties in relation to the Education Act (1996 and 2014). Collaboration with other support services and agencies to maintain a multi-disciplinary network of services for children and young people. To maintain registration with the Health Care & Professions Council through submission of CPD plan and log as required and abide by professional standards, codes of ethics and conduct. To provide a range of psychological services including consultation, assessment product development and training as part of commissioned and project work. To maintain clear and accurate records in all areas of work as required by the Buckinghamshire County Council and Educational Psychology Service guidelines, professional Codes of Conduct and ethical guidelines and in compliance with the Data Protection Act. In order to be considered for this role you must be a qualified and experienced Educational Psychologist with a valid HCPC registration and hold a valid driving licence.
