EBD/SEMH Youth Workers I Risk of social exclusion I Moss Side I Immediate start I KS3

Education Network are currently recruiting Youth Workers to assist a setting in Moss Side, the provision caters for 14-16 year olds that are not attending mainstream school.

You will be asked to support young people in their personal, social and educational development to help them reach their full potential in society. You will be based at one of four centres in South Manchester, projects offer a range of centre based and outreach provision aimed at developing personal and social skills. The setting offers a broad and balanced curriculum that includes core subjects as well as History, Geography and Sport.

You will have:

-A proven record of supporting behaviour within the classroom or similar provision for 6 months or longer.

- A valid Team Teach certificate.

-Have a valid DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be prepared to
undertake a new one

The role:

This role is to start immediately, 5 days a week, starting at 8:30-4.00. This is a long term position.
