Are you an experienced teaching assistant who is committed to making a real difference to the lives of the children? Do you have experience in supporting children who have been excluded from school?

Education Network are currently recruiting for L2 TAs for a primary school located in Oldham. The school supports children aged 5-11 that have been permanently excluded from school. Alongside this support the school also provides a Specialist Learning Centre (SLC). The SLC offers provision and support for Oldham pupils who, through illness or mental health issues are unable to attend their mainstream school for a fixed period of time.

You will have:
-A proven record of supporting behaviour and/or mental health within the classroom or similar provision for 6 months or longer.
-Have a valid DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be prepared to
undertake a new one
The successful candidate will:
-Be an outstanding SEN teaching assistant with an excellent record of classroom practice and high expectations of behaviour and achievement

The role:
This role is to start immediately, 5 days a week, starting at 8:30-4.00. This is a long term position with the opportunity to becoming permanent.
