Job Details

Are you a recent graduate, who has been frustrated in your applications to Teacher Training courses for September 2017?

Would you like to gain more experience of working with students and schools, before deciding if teaching is a career for you?

Are you tired of being told "you need to get experience first" - but have no idea how to go about this??

Or, are you an experienced, talented cover supervisor who is frustrated at low rates of pay, a lack of support from your agency, and feeling left out by a lack of CPD opportunities?

Then The Education Network is the agency you NEED to be speaking to - as we can help you with all of the above!

The role of a Cover Supervisor is key; you will get experience of covering a range of subjects, delivering different styles and schemes of pre-set work, and, get the chance to implement a range of behaviour strategies. You will also get to experience a range of schools on a daily, one day supply basis, through to enjoying longer-term assignments where you will be able to support teachers with your own timetable, become involved in extra-curricular clubs, and partake in regular CPD sessions.

Since September 2014; all of our graduates have progressed onto PGCE/QTS courses - the combination of a variety of work, coupled with excellent CPD and ongoing training opportunities means that your application is bolstered with a truly solid knowledge base of working with children and young adults.

We are always keen to speak to graduates in any of the "core" subjects - Maths, English and Science especially - or, graduates with an education focused degree such as Sports Coaching, Physical Education or Special Educational Needs.

All we ask is that you

- A passion to make a difference
- Are reliable, punctual and enthusiastic
- Willing to accept feedback and constructive comments
- Patience to overcome barriers to learning
