We are working in partnership with an FE College in Bolton, who has approached ourselves to build a bank of Teaching Assistants/Support Workers, to provide high-quality support and guidance to their learners who have additional needs. Our College is based across several sites and offers a variety of courses and qualifications to learners aged fourteen upwards.
These roles are on a flexible, ad-hoc basis to fit in around staff absences, funding, and, new students arriving at the college. Work is available from durations of one day, to one week, a month, upwards. Many of these roles have the possibility to become fixed term (contract) or permanent.
We will be holding open days for interested candidates to come and register - agency work is perfect for talented support staff who have evening, weekend or ad-hoc commitments, so please don't worry about getting in touch if you already have hours with another organisation or service user.
To be considered for this role, you MUST have the following:
- A passion to make a difference
- A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification, OR,
- A degree and an interest in education in Key Stage 5
- Patience to overcome barriers to learning
- Current, up to date references which we can verify
