Job Description
The Education Network in Manchester - currently recruiting for an experienced Third in Charge and Room Leaders in South Manchester. We are looking for senior practitioners with experience of team leading, staff management. You will have a fantastic knowledge of the EYFS, with a passion for child development.
You will take responsibility as Third in Charge/or Baby Room Leader. You will need a full and relevant childcare qualification. The roles will be room, based, full time, Monday to Friday. Your role as Room leader/Third in Charge will include:
" Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
" Ensuring health, safety and wellbeing of the children at all times
" Being a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS
" Overseeing the smooth running and high quality practice within the room
" Supporting the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager in times of need, which may include office related duties and opening/closing of the nursery
You may have experience of the following: Senior Nursery Nurse, Head of Unit, Senior Nursery Practitioner, Room Supervisor, Room Manager, Senior Room Leader, Deputy Manager, Preschool Manager.
You will need to be able to provide;
- 3 years of references (this can include work or education references)
- 6 months practical experience of working with children whom acquire special educational needs
- A current DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be prepared to
undertake a new one
