Special needs 1:1 Support/TA/ Part time

Part Time 3 afternoons only-Monday, Tuesday and Thursday)-Immediate start
Based: Trafford

Do you have experience in supporting children with SEN on a 1:1 basis?
Can you provide personalised support?
Do you have a good knowledge of the EYFS?

If you are an experienced support worker or SEN TA then we have a role for you. You will support a child (Pre-School) with a on a 1:1 basis within the nursery setting over three afternoons, these being Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. This role is long term and will finish next September.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
" To work under the guidance and supervision of the Nursery Manager
" To work closely in partnership with the teachers and nursery nurses in the team.
" To be actively involved in the planning, preparation and evaluation of the EYFS curriculum
" To work with the staff in the observation and recording of the development of child's progress.

Qualifications and Skills

" CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Child Care and Education or above
" BTEC National Diploma in Children's Care, Learning and Development
" NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development
" DBS (Updated Service)

You will have:
" -A proven record of supporting SEN students with a range of needs
" -Have a basic understanding of PECS and/or Makaton
" -Have a valid DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be prepared to
undertake a new one
