You will be an ambitious graduate who has an impressive academic record and a 2:1 or better in a relevant degree and previous experience working with children who need Speech and Language support. You will have the ability to engage your pupils through learning and a passion for working with children with SEN.
The Headteacher wants to recruit a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant with excellent communication skills and a true consideration for the welfare of their pupils.
This Speech and Language Teaching Assistant role involves offering a more targeted provision for individual pupils or groups of children. You will have the responsibility of enhancing your approach and gaining confidence in your abilities by paying careful attention to the advice of a passionate SENCO who will be acting as your mentor throughout the year. In this post you will be working in SEN adapted classrooms equipped with specialist software to enhance the learning progression of SEN students.
