A'Level Intervention Tutors needed for students currently not accessing formal education
I am currently working with a young man who is Year 11, and who is ASC so isn't accessing his education at college. He needs A'level tuition for Physics, Maths and Computer Science for one day a week, possibly a Wednesday until the end of the academic year.
Your role will be to
Assist in the support your student within the home setting to maximise their opportunities to learn and improve their levels of achievement.
Foster positive relationships with your student and build a level of trust
Work with the student to identify gaps in selected individual's learning and develop appropriate strategies to close these gaps
Deliver high quality support/teaching that will promote student wellbeing by encouraging relationships based on mutual respect and by developing self-reliance and self-esteem.
Prepare differentiated resources for the student to enable a work towards A'Level exams.
Contribute to planned delivery, monitoring, assessment and reporting cycle in line with the college
Maintain records of progress, assist with writing of IEP reports, analyse progress data and contribute to reviews.
Support with exam preparation, mark course work and offer advice on how to do well in exams.
