I am currently recruiting for a mainstream primary school in South Manchester who have an SEN unit with three classes covering EYFS, KS1 and KS2 . This is to cover a sickness for a minimum of half a term.

As a special educational needs (SEN) teacher in this school, you'll work with all the children and young people who need extra support
The children who are supported in the unit have a range of both physical needs, learning difficulties such as autism, social, emotional and mental health needs, or global learning delay. You may also work with gifted and talented individuals.
In this role you will need to:
Teach either individuals or small groups of pupils within, the class
Prepare lessons and resources
mark and assess work
develop and adapt conventional teaching methods to meet the individual needs of pupils
use special equipment and facilities, such as audiovisual materials and computers to stimulate interest in learning
collaborate with the experienced TA's to define appropriate activities for the pupils in relation to the curriculum
liaise with other professionals, such as social workers, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists and educational psychologists
work closely with parents and guardians
attend statutory annual reviews or other related meetings, such as Looked After Child (LAC) reviews, regarding students with a SEN, which may involve reviewing Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans
attend in-service training
QTS status, and experience of working in an SEN environment
Experience of working with KS1 and KS2 children with ASC.
