Teaching Assistant Level 1
Location - Rochdale, Greater Manchester
The Education Network are currently seeking Teaching Assistants to provide in class support for individuals and small groups.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to relate professionally and confidently to students and staff and be willing to contribute to the school's work in supporting children with special educational needs.
This is an ideal opportunity for a graduate interested in a career in teaching to gain relevant experience
enthusiastic individual for regular work as a Specialist Support Assistant in a large and welcoming, high achieving secondary school with an excellent reputation in the local community. This role will involve working in the special educational needs unit working to provide 1:1 support to students who need some extra help.
The successful candidates will be:
- Qualified Level 1 Teaching Assistant or above
- Confident and positive in their approach to working with children
- Keen to learn and develop professionally
- Able to work on their own initiative
- Pro-active team members, committed to raising standards and achievements
- Have a passion for education and raising the achievement of all children
