Youth Leader / Worker / Teaching Assistant / Support Worker
The Education Network are working in conjunction with an organisation based in Northampton to provide enthusiastic, experienced and knowledgeable Youth Workers / Leaders to support a group of students on an exciting community project opportunity
The role will begin with a 3 day residential trip where you will supervise and support a group of students - all lodgings etc will be provided. During this stage you will assist the students to use their imagination and initiative to create a community project which will help their local community. On your return you will then assist the students to actively put this projects into place.
This is a really exciting opportunity not only to support young people in their work but also to put something back into the community and create a real difference locally.
The ideal candidate would be someone that has worked with children either in a youth club setting or within an education environment. If you have supported children in sport or have a background within after school / lunchtime support you will also be considered. You will need to be available to work from Thursday 12th October for a minimum of 3 weeks and have a current DBS, ideally on the update service.
