They are growing and are about to move into a fantastic, larger office space in Leeds to accommodate the expanding team. With the growth of the business they are looking for a Head of Development/Technical Lead to take on a pivotal role in the business. Job Description: You'll have the experience to manage the team of Developers and output of projects. This role will include hands on and overseeing site development and maintenance for multiple clients, through to research, development, testing and implementation of new features and functionality. The majority of the clients are Ecommerce based, so this role requires interaction with leading commerce software providers such as PayPal and Shopify. What We're Looking For: You'll be from a hands on Developer background, with the technical knowledge and management experience. You'll play a part in the development and progression of the team, mentoring and offering your expertise " Experience with PHP 5.5+ and a strong understanding of OPP " Ecommerce development skills/platforms " MySQL, HTML, CSS3 and JavaScript " Experience with Git, Subversion " Strong knowledge of MVC Frameworks The agency offer training and career progression, regular team building events and frequent meals and nights out with the team and clients.
