Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Traffic Planner for one of our clients based in Coatbridge on a temp basis however there is a strong chance this could go permanent
Reporting into the Transport Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing an excellent service for the business

Duties will include -
Collation of Drivers' daily paperwork
Inputting drivers' hours so must have a god knowledge of this
Compliance must be done to a high standard
Planning routes so must have a good knowledge of geographical locations in Scotland
Attention to details must be of a high standard
A good knowledge of Excel
Inputting and cross checking of customer orders.
Acting as a point of contact for drivers and clients.
Have a good knowledge of ADR
Track and update internal systems with live updates on stock in and out of Terminal and Clients' premises.
Salary £29,000-30,000 there is an allowance for nightshift (weekend work is overtime and paid extra)
Shifts will alternate each week from Days (05:00am), (10:00am) and nights (18:00) you will be on days until you are full trained and feel confident to be working on your own initiative

Required skills & experience
Previous experience in a similar role within a busy traffic office.
Confident with Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel.
