Pertemps Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our construction/manufacturing clients based in Edinburgh. We are looking for an experienced Yard Operative who can drive and also cover warehouse duties when needed. This role will be based in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas with the main yard being based in Leith.

A full clean drivers licence will be required for this role as deliveries and pickups will be required to our clients other sites and suppliers.

Working Hours:

40 hour work week with chance of overtime.
8am - 4pm (maychange depending on workload.)
Delivery and pick up may require overnight within the UK. Hotel paid for. Food budget £10 per overnight stay.

Pay rate - £11 p/h

Key Areas of Responsibility:

* Receiving goods in the yard, checking goods against packing list, check for missing and damaged goods.
* Put away of inbound goods
* Moving goods around using pallet jack or forklift
* Picking and Packing orders for clients. Keep paperwork up to date
* Complete deliveries to clients or job site
* Complete pick ups from vendors
* Loading of containers for international markets
* Inventory twice a year at yard
