Business Architect – Enterprise Architect / Business Consultant – leading management consultancy
A skilled and talented Business Architect is required by one of the UK's leading consulting, technology and outsourcing providers to work within the Architecture and Technology Solutions area.
The Business Architect position is a unique blend of enterprise architect and business domain expert with the personal skills and credibility to work closely with CIOs and business leaders to ensure that business strategy is translated into business outcomes through IT solutions represented in an enterprise architecture.
We are looking for someone with a blend of the following skills and experience:
• Enterprise Architecture – able to formulate and/or elucidate an overall design and strategy for the IT landscape. Provide a focal point for definition and understanding of this solution, and control technical risk for both the client and Consultancy through effective architecture governance.
• Business Consultant – able to work with business people to ensure that IT strategies and technical projects deliver business outcomes and reflect business priorities and constraints.
Essential Skills / Experience:
We are looking for the highest-calibre individuals who exhibit the following attributes, experience and skills, enabling them to deliver rapid value to our clients and customers.
Close understanding of at least one business domain with familiarity of the relevant processes and value chains.
Good understanding of application, information and infrastructure architectures in the public and private sectors.
Experience in design and delivery of service-oriented architectures and software development processes such as RUP (Rational Unified Process) and Agile.
Extensive experience in at least one of the following functional areas:
application integration (messaging, adaptors, ERP integration, JCA, JBI, WS-* Standards).
service integration (ESB implementation, service enablement, legacy integration).
process integration (business process integration, workflow, service orchestration).
‘people' integration (portals, collaboration, multi-channel access, web-enablement).
Candidates can work from any base UK location and will have the opportunity to work remotely but must be fully flexible with regards to working hours and working away from home during the week.
