Pertemps Kettering are currently recruiting for a Business Development Executive for our established Northamtponshire based Client. Our client are a leading bespoke manufacturing company who manage accounts for large retail clients around the world.
The main duties will involve:
" Out-bound telephone calls to prospects, suspects, clients and affiliate organisations
" Promoting and selling products and services.
" Responsible for maintaining and updating current data base as well as expanding on the target market and potential clients.
" Ensuring that the accuracy of the data base is updated daily.
" Form positive and proactive relationship with all prospects, suspects, clients and affiliates that you come into contact with at all times.
" Obtaining as much information 'up-front' as possible to maximise sales opportunity and success outcome for each.
" Working with your line manager/s, as well as the wider sales team, to ensure you achieve your sales performance targets each month and each financial year.
" You shall also be responsible for taking any appropriate in-bound calls as required.
The ideal candidate will have a great understanding of the following:
" Be able to maximise all new business opportunities by primarily cold calling - utilising the company's data base of suspects, prospects, past clients, affiliates etc. as directed by the company.
" You shall be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and ideally PowerPoint - as well as having the ability to quickly learn how to navigate and use the companies CRM systems.
" Be prepared to fulfil all associated telephone sales administration duties required by the company.
" You shall be an excellent, natural, positive and efficient telephone sales person, as well as being confident in face-to-face communications. You shall be required to communicate professionally and positively via email, social media, skype etc. as directed by the company.
" You shall be expected to maintain a high level of industry/sector awareness by reading sector publications, on-line social media, websites, as well as attending trade shows and exhibitions if requested by your line manager.
" It is vital for you to manage your time efficiently, be punctual, have an eye for detail, to be thorough and to be diligent at all times.
" You will be a great 'team player' and play your part in helping strive towards greater success and efficiencies.
" Problem solving, being flexible and being able to work under pressure with deadlines are all key to your future success within.
" Must be able to work on a daily basis against agreed call targets, sales conversion rates, revenue targets etc - performing to an agreed minimum sales target each month.
The company offer ongoing training with opportunities to gain accredited qualifications within specific fields. They also hold yearly reviews for pay structures to ensure they are in line with the current market. After two years of service an additional days holiday will be added for each full year completed.
The working hours will be 8.30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch.
