Pertemps Kettering are currently recruiting for Operations Manager to join our clients expanding team based in Corby. Previous experience in 3PL environment is required.
The Duties for the Operations Manager will involve:
Offer leadership to the existing team
Motivate and enhance the development of the current team
Monitor performance and carry out appraisal meetings
Oversee all aspects of health and safety in the workplace to comply with our current procedures manual.
Work with the General manager to develop and achieve managed strategies.
Offer suggestions and recommendations for approving production and productivity.
Deal with escalations from either the warehouse team or the account management team.
Liaise with clients regarding any issues and Service level agreements.
To organise training and develop the skill sets of current staff.
To manage all aspects of goods coming in and leaving warehouse.
The Ideal Operations Manager must have a minimum of 4 years warehouse management experience and will have the opportunity to express their ideas in order to develop this business. They will also responsible for overseeing both the warehouse and account management teams which will consist of around 20+ members of staff.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 08.00am-5.30pm.
