Pertemps in Kettering are recruiting for a Transport Admin Coordinator for a busy but small operation based in Corby, Northamptonshire.
The ideal candidate will be able to multi-task and switch tasks at a moment's notice whilst still keeping a strong sense of attention to detail and urgency.
Main Duties of the coordinator will be:
Be the main point of contact for 4 phones lines covering calls from new and old clients and drivers on the road.
Responsible for allocation of driver drops throughout Northamptonshire that are pre booked for that day.
A full UK driving licence will be required and you may be asked to drive the company van to other sites in Northampton to drop off urgent parts required.
Although training will be give, you will need to have a good knowledge of systems.
Good geographical knowledge of the surrounding areas will be a huge advantage.
Have excellent telephone manner.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, however due to the nature of the role, you will be asked to flexible to work an 8 hours shift between the hours of 05:30am - 19:00pm.
This is a temporary to permanent role for the right candidate and the hours rate start on £8.59p/h. there will be a pay increase when the role changes to permanent.
