Accounts Administrator (1 year)
What is the purpose of this role?
Our client, the UK's largest water and sewerage company, is currently looking for an Accounts Administrator within the 'Trade Effluent Technical Support' team on a temporary basis, for one year.
The Trade Effluent team are responsible for issuing and managing permits / legal documentation to companies for discharging groundwater into their sewers. The team also monitor and control the risk posed by these discharges and raise the associated income to defined targets.
Based at the Beckton Sewage Treatment Works in Barking, you will provide detailed support with the billing of accounts. This also includes assisting with the issue of documentation and completion of case assessments.
You will provide front line customer service from telephone calls, contacts and letters. You will also provide general office support such as data entry, administration and filing.
You will receive an hourly wage of £10 per hour. You will be part of a high profile team and be exposed to various stakeholders within the company, giving you a good opportunity to network.

Are you highly proficient with numbers? Are you local to Barking?
To be considered for this one-year, temporary role you will have relevant work experience with the ability to work to timescales.
You will be educated to A-levels maths (or equivalent) in order to carry out the role effectively.
You will be an analytical and self-motivated individual with excellent attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills and a strong customer focus.
Due to the remote location of this job, you will need to be local and be able to drive.
