In this role, you will be responsible for managing the schedules of a range of field based staff, ensuring that all work is optimised and completed in an efficient manner. You will ensure that work is appropriately prioritised, passed to and completed by the field teams. The ideal candidate will be able to prioritise work effectively to ensure any emergency work is appropriately actioned within seat deadlines.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
As well as communicating with a range of staff, both internally and out on the field, you will be responsible for:
Ensuring schedules are adequately arranged for field staff
Contact managers and key team leaders to establish scheduling status and ensure work load is achievable
Monitor urgent unscheduled priority work throughout the day, assign to resources and follow up with phone call.
Liaise with technicians and make them aware of jobs that have been assigned and dispatched to them
Escalate any necessary queries / actions to managers so that technicians are adequately informed
The ideal candidate
To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will be organised, meticulous and adaptable in your approach. You will form part of a wider scheduling team so team working is essential, as is the ability to work autonomously and using your initiative where necessary.
This role will see you engaging heavily with internal customers so strong communication skills are key. You will be able to work under pressure to meet demanding targets and you will have demonstrable experience in this.
An understanding of Work Management Processes and Systems preferred but not essential. You will be competent at using the appropriate Company IT systems and Office software.
