About this role:
You will be working as part of a small team where you will be responsible for analysing detailed information about housing delivery and updating corporate systems to enable future infrastructure planning.
Key areas of accountability will include:
" Collating, interpreting and loading information received via Local Authorities in the form of Planning Applications, Local Plans, New Roads and Street Works applications as well as other ancillary processes onto departmental systems accurately and to the required timescale.
" Proactively contacting local authorities and developers to gather the best information possible about housing development
" Analysing data to understand trends for approval/ build and completion rates and inform other departments about the rate of development coming forward.
" Resolving data queries prior to updating the corporate and departmental systems.
" Responding to customer enquiries in writing or by telephone.
" Contributing to process, service and efficiency improvements.
To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:
" Ability to analyse this data and produce evidence to support their findings
" An excellent customer manner
" Accuracy and attention to detail is a must
" Meet challenging productivity targets is essential
" Intermediate level of IT packages including databases and MS Excel is required
This is a Permanent position with a good competitive salary. You will be working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
