World leading professional body is seeking a Membership Administrator to support their Memberships Services department at their central London offices.
This is an ongoing temporary position to start ASAP until December 2018 and will pay between £14.00 and £15.00 per hour dependant on experience.
The Membership Administrator will provide a high level of customer service to members and potential members providing clear and timely information, keeping accurate member records, liaising with the development teams and volunteer members to ensure the efficient processing of member queries and applications. Duties include:
Provide high quality customer support to all members, providing accurate and timely advice by email and by telephone.
Assist in the set-up and back-office support for all interview venues and interview panels as requested for professional review interviews, including by video conference.
Process all types of member application forms and application fees.
Ensure that information for members is correct and kept up to date in emails, standard letters, web pages and guidance notes.
Contribute to the Membership team, supporting product development, marketing initiatives, communications plan and roll-out of projects.
Process Qualifications Checker requests received through the membership helpdesks
Maintain accurate records on the database.
Assist in general administration duties such as collection, opening and distribution of post, filing, photocopying and maintaining a tidy working environment
The ideal Membership Administrator will have the following knowledge, skills and experience:
Experience of working in a busy office environment, providing a highly customer focused service.
Proven administration experience with excellent written English and the ability to produce own correspondence.
Ability to effectively communicate and engage with a wide range of people, tactfully and diplomatically.
Willingness to be flexible and multi-task as a member of the team whilst able to work resourcefully on own initiative.
Experience of setting up video conferencing
Confident telephone manner with a diplomatic engaging telephone style.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes, Word, ADAVANCED Excel, Outlook.
Logical thinker, numerate with strong literacy skills, able to communicate complex requirements.
Ability to work toward tight deadlines and to manage priorities, with good personal organisation and time management skills.
Strongly motivated to achieve results, with a high degree of professionalism, honesty and integrity.
