Virtual Assistant (Part-time)

One of the world's leading University's located in Central London are looking for a Part-time Virtual Assistant to Director of the Centre for Access to Justice and Pro-Vice-Provost International. This is a temporary role until March 2020 and is based within the Global Engagement Office

Salary: £15-£16 per hour
Location: Remote working with prearranged office check-ins
Hours: 16 Hrs Weekly (Part-Time)
Start: ASAP
End: Until March 2020

Purpose of the role:
To assist a Professor in their dual capacity as Director of the Centre and as Pro-Vice-Provost International (PVP(I))with general diary management and administrative support. This role is a fantastic opportunity to be at the heart of the Global Engagement Strategy which will come into place over the next ten years and allow the university to maintain and achieve its strong academic international objectives

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Centre Director with all aspects of administration for meetings, teaching, conferences and research related activities
  •  Provide administrative and secretarial support to the PVP(I): diary management, mail management, preparation of papers and correspondence, booking of travel arrangements, processing expense claims
  • Provide administrative and secretarial support to service recurring meetings with the Vice-Dean International network and the Regional Pro-Vice-Provost network
  • Use Microsoft Office Package (esp. Excel) appropriately for efficient record keeping
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
  • Experience of working remotely, ideally for high-level executives
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and experience of communicating complex issues to a variety of audiences
  • Flexibility and versatility to adapt to any task often at short notice
  • Experience working in a higher Educational background is desirable
