We are looking for motivated Desk Based Account Manager for a leading IT and Telecommunications business based in the Midlands – this role will be a mix of home and office work.
The business have hundreds (possibly thousands!) of business customers whom they supply with services such as VOIP telephone systems, company mobile phone contracts, business energy, cloud storage. The role of this individual is to become the 1st point of call for these customers for anything (other than technical support) account related.
You will deliver top-quality service and account support whilst proactively consulting on their clients' ongoing requirements. You will be a 'people person' – an expert in relationship management, rapport building over the phone and specialising in developing long-term relationships with decision makers. You will present a polished, professional image that reassures clients that they're in good hands when it comes to their Technology / Telco requirements.
Your role is to manage each client to ensure they remain with the business and to ascertain what additional products / services may be required ready to pass into the Sales team.
You will be commercially astute and will run this desk like it’s your own business, spot opportunities to build on the products / services you already supply to each customer.
