A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Key Account Manager to join my client in Chester. The company are one of the UK's leading holiday property rental companies and are eager to recruit a Key Account Manager to support, manage and grow their high value and most profitable accounts by delivering exceptional service and proactive account management. The opportunity is office based and comes with a basic salary of £25,000 to £30,000. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm.

The main duties of a Key Account Manager are;

  • Deliver excellent service and achieve profit targets through effective account management
  • Create, manage and deliver business plans for clients
  • Take responsibility for all reporting of each individual account
  • Create and deliver presentations to clients on performance and projects
  • Complete monthly call plans with clients
  • Listen and understand the clients needs to ensure a tailored solution
  • Continuous analysis of performance and processes to further improve and grow accounts
  • Creation of monthly plans to ensure targets are hit and achieved within budget
  • Effectively manage own diary
  • Handle any general enquiries from clients on your portfolio

To be considered for this position you must possess the following;
  • Account management experience is vital
  • Experience working with high value/spending clients
  • A high work ethic coupled with an energetic and methodical approach to work
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Strong verbal and listening skills coupled with a professional telephone manner
  • Basic IT skills
