Having secured a £11 m project in the South West with plans to expand their presence in the region, they are keen to appoint an experienced Senior Site Manager to join their growing team.
As a key part of the site team and reporting into a Senior Project Manager, responsibilities will include;
- Taking the site lead on this initial scheme
- Overseeing & managing subcontractors and site staff
- Monitoring and reporting on progress
- Ensuring high standards of Health & Safety and quality
- Chairing site meetings
- Ordering materials
- Short term project planning
You should have a solid career history in a similar role within a Main Contracting environment, excellent construction knowledge and strong communication and leadership skills. Applicants should have previous experience working on large scale building schemes with values of £10m+, hold up to date CSCS, First Aid and SMSTS and be fully IT literate.
