The company are seeking an experienced Construction Planner to join their successful pre-construction function servicing the Somerset, Devon & Cornwall region.
As the lead Planner for the South West business unit, the Postholder will be required to undertake the following duties:
- provide a full planning service during pre-qual, tender, contract and post contract stages of construction schemes.
- Using planning software, ASTA, you will work closely with management, clients and consultants providing advice and guidance on methodology and sequencing
- producing accurate plans, programmes and strategies to enable schemes to be completed to time, budget and quality.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role within a main contracting company, site experience and sound knowledge of the construction process, excellent communication skills, fully IT literate and be able to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
