Our client, a multi-award-winning EdTech Company has an exciting opportunity for a talented, enthusiastic and ambitious Graduate Editorial Assistant. Having recently won the Scottish Digital Business Award for Education and Training in 2018, they are working with the best in the industry including the Scottish Government, the Welsh Government and over 2000 Schools throughout the UK. This client is at the forefront of the EdTech sector.
The business’s main product is a web-based platform delivering world class literacy and language resources designed to engage learners, support educators and involve parents.
As the ideal candidate you will be a creative digital expert with a keen eye for detail, educated to a degree level (or above) with relevant experience in digital publishing. You will also have a practical grasp of how to optimise content and relevant experience as an educator would be fantastic! A UK driving license is preferred but not essential.
It would be hugely beneficial if you speak a second language (ideally Gaelic) and are able to demonstrate life experience beyond academia. Furthermore, excellent customer delivery skills are vital as you will be engaging with valued customers and partners. You will support our Editorial Director and have responsibility for managing the editorial calendar, including daily management of the desk, and you will provide a rapid response on topical issues.
Offering a salary of up to £21,000 per year, this role is permanent, fulltime and based in Kilmarnock. The role also attracts flexible working opportunities including home working and an enhanced company healthcare policy.
