An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Catering Manager in the Birmingham area.
My client is currently looking for a temporary Catering/Chef Manager for an education facility in the borough of Birmingham. The position will initially be a 2 month contract with a view to extend and the possibility of a permanent vacancy for the right person.
NVQ 3 in Professional Cookery or equivalent is essential, as well as a minimum of Level 2 Food Safety. Successful applicants will have had previous experience managing a catering unit including the management of unit staff, effectively dealing with complaints, have a sound knowledge of Health & Safety and be confident in their ability to design and produce nutritious, healthy meals as well as overseeing food and labour costs.
This role will be Monday to Friday 6:30 until 2:30, term time only. Due to the nature of the work an enhanced DBS and reference checks will be required before commencing work.
