An opportunity for a dynamic and forward thinking Quantity Surveyor to join an equally forward thinking business in Exeter has become available. You will be joining a well known contractor working on a range of housing and multi occupancy development schemes through out the Devon & Cornwall Region.

This is an exciting opportunity for driven Qs to come on board and contribute to the business growth and be part of the success as the region expands.

As an experienced Quantity Surveyor, you should have full awareness and excellent working knowledge of the commercial process as you will be responsible for your own projects and packages from; procurement, measurement and valuations to agreeing final accounts, project budgets, and site meetings as well as liaising with a variety of contacts such as architects, consultants and internal departments.

 

You will regularly visit your schemes ensuring you maintain a strong presence with the site teams– all sites are within commuting distance of the Exeter office.

Experience Required:

- A contracting background is essential
- Residential experience is not essential  however would be advantageous to your application
- This company will consider an assistant to step into this role however you will need to be capable and confident with running your own jobs
