Class 1 Driver

Pertemps are recruiting for LGV Class 1 Day and night Drivers to join us working for our Client Yusen Logistis based in Derby Findern.  We are able to offer Monday to Friday working  with weekend work available during Peak period.

We are able to offer blocked bookings during Peak whih will run from 1st Sept through until 30th November.

• Shifts will be around 10 – 12 hours
• AM Start times range from 04:00-06:00
• Night start times range from 17:00-20:00

Rates of Pay

• £17.74 per hour Days - Daily Gaurantee of 8 h hours with OT paid after 9 hours.
• £20.96 per hour Nights - Daily Gaurantee of 8 h hours with OT paid after 9 hours.
• Overtime and Saturday days £26.61
• Overtime and Saturday nights £29.83
• Sundays £32.32-£35.54

As an LGV Class 1 Driver, you will safely and efficiently deliver products on behalf of our customers to various sites across the UK starting from our Derby Findern depot.

Adhering to designated routes, you’ll undertake route checks for safety restrictions, planned road works and traffic to ensure your journey will be smooth and efficient.

You’ll also engage with customers, other road users and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.

To be considered for this rolw, you will need:

• A full, valid driving LGV Class 1 licence
• Commercial LGV Class 1 driving experience - Minimum 12 Months
• A maximum of six points on your licence 
• A valid Driver CPC qualification
• A valid Digital Tachograph card
• Excellent communication skills
• To be customer-focused
• A flexible approach to your work and the ability to start at different times if necessary.
