About the role
I am currently working on behalf of The Education Network as we’re looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant for a long-term role based in a primary school in the west of Newcastle. The role is to commence from September 2022 and the ideal candidate will have experience working with Key Stage 2 as well as SEN experience. In addition, the successful applicant will need to understand the national curriculum and be able to deliver this to the highest level possible.

About the Education Network
- Previous experience working within a Primary School within Key Stage 2
- Previous SEN experience required
- Caring and nurturing attitude towards children
- Full understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection methods and responsibilities
- A passion and desire to work with students with additional needs.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to new learning environments
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and students
- A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate or a willingness to apply for one
- Available 5 days a week and able to commit up to the end of the summer term
