Job Title: Manufacturing Systems Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer / Manufacturing Systems Lead Based: Bristol area. A experienced Manufacturing Systems Lead is required to join the team in Bristol. Working within a fast paced, friendly environment. The purpose of this role is to own the manufacturing system from cradle to grave and tolead, manage and coordinate the supporting cell manufacturing engineers to achieve asafe, sustainable and lean interlinked production system in a continuous improvementenvironment to deliver our products on time to standard and within budget. The Role: - To design, prove, implement and maintain overall manufacturing system todeliver existing, customised and new products safely, on time to standard and withinbudget according the required yield and efficiency level. - implement, own and continuously improve the overall LEAN processesfor the overall manufacturing system according to the guidelines of the ProductionSystem. - Documented and traceable processes for the complete manufacturingsystem in compliance to our current regulations in terms of ISO 9001, 14001 andOHSAS18001. - Training process, procedures, documentation and traceability to create andsustain the workforce competences. - Ownership and accountability to resolve or support any noconformity,internal or external, impacting the overall manufacturing system. - Balanced production system over the different manufacturing cells with anactive bottleneck management - Critical part traceability within our products. Essential minimum requirement: - Experience working within an assembly Manufacturing or production engineering experience essential - Project Management - experience in implementing the principles of lean manufacturing - Experience of utilising problem solving and root cause analysis tools in amanufacturing environment. - Previous experience in key manufacturing principles such as TPM, 8D, 6Sproblem solving, product responsibility, continuous improvement process as well as newproduct introduction.
