Conference and Banqueting Manager
We are currently looking for a Conference and Banqueting Manager to join a fantastic company located in Tamworth.
A wide variety of events held here such as Exhibitions, Weddings, Work Conferences, Private Dining which can be held indoor or outdoor.
Customer service is the main focus in this role, alongside motivating, inspiring and leading a team of staff. Your role will involve daily meetings as well as a significant number of private dinners and Weddings. You will be working closely with the Management team and deal with staffing, stock and financial control as well as ensuring outstanding customer service solutions.
• You will be responsible for all cost controls throughout the department.
• You will have ownership over service standards and training, ensuring they are embedded in the team.
• You will have accountability for health and safety throughout the department.
• You will promote key relationships with individuals and other departments in achieving success.
We are looking to recruit a fun, friendly and hands-on Manager capable of dealing with fast paced sales and achieving KPI's. With a keen eye for detail, an organised & planned approach to the operation. Often operating on the front line driving standards, you will be a real ambassador of our company, and should be committed to consistently delivering high standards.
The successful applicant must have previous experience in Conference and Banqueting operations; at a minimum of supervisory level. Applicants must have experience of Team Management, be computer literate, and able to work flexible hours.
