Recruitment & HR Advisor

I am currently recruiting for a Recruitment & HR Advisor based in Tamworth. I am looking for someone who can resource and recruit, offering a first class candidate experience from engagement through to start date coupled with supporting the business growth and employee management.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:-

RECRUITMENT, HR and FLEET

• Ensure all job roles are marketed through social media and job boards, sourcing candidates directly whenever possible
• Build working partnerships with third party suppliers and manage all recruitment expectations
• Manage candidates expectations with a first class experience from start to finish
• Conduct telephone screening asking key probing questions for each role to ascertain quality and culture fit
• Manage all interview stages and communicate feedback to both candidates and hiring managers
• Coordinate an induction/on boarding program for new candidates
• Monitor and maintain recruitment MI activity to report back to the business
HR
• Deal with various HR queries throughout the business
• Monitor, review and update HR policies ensuring these are in line with current legislation
• Manage staff relationships, responding to any queries or problems they have and managing their expectation
• Handle HR matters reliably and in accordance with legal requirements
• Support the management team with various capability investigations including grievance and disciplinary
• Partnering with line mangers to review employee relations, performance management, resourcing and staff management
• Ensure effective monitoring of sickness trends and remedial action to facilitate a proactive approach to absence management


FLEET
• Support with the administration of fuel cards, processing records and invoices. Issuing and cancelling cards when required
• Ensure all vehicle inspections and servicing is completed on time
• Monitor drivers and ensure they are compliant with safety procedures and company policies
• Complete new vehicle handovers and arrange hire vehicles as and when required
• Coordinate the installation and removal of tracking devices
• Update and maintain vehicle files



Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Strong communication skills and ability to influence with expertise 
• Proven track record working in a recruitment role
• Able to work under pressure and have resilience to a heavy work load 
• Organisation and communication is key, must be able to work to deadlines 
• Strong team player and able to support others 
• IT literate, ideally with experience of MS Office
