We are currently working with a brilliant hotel in the Shirley area of Solihull who are looking for an experienced chef de partie or junior sous chef to join their kitchen team.
The hotel boasts an AA rosette restaurant, award winning afternoon tea room and multiple conference and banqueting rooms. They use locally sourced fresh produce and are always looking to improve.
The junior sous chef position will be focusing on the restaurant and banqueting side of the business, ensuring AA rosette standards are being acheived, excellent kitchen hygiene and strong organisation of the daily food service. Other duties will include staff training, ordering, menu planning and stock management.
The job is working 5 days out of 7, straight shifts. Salary up to £23,000pa, paid in monthly installments. Great opportunities to progress into sous chef role.
The hotel can be reached by public transport but own transport would be ideal due to the start and finish times of some shifts.
