About the role

The duties of the Accounts Clerk include but are not limited to:

  • Ledger and bank reconciliations
  • Maintenance of the nominal ledger
  • Support accountants with ad-hoc duties
  • Prepare general ledger postings and statements
  • Accurate input of data within ledgers
Person Specification

The ideal Accounts Clerk will have a positive attitude to self-development and will maintain a constant effort to improve.
  • Good Microsoft Excel knowledge
  • A good understanding of the difference between debit and credit
  • AAT Qualified or degree educated in Accounting and Finance
  • Excellent communication sills
  • High numerical skill level
